What of our retribution? Did we not suffer, and lose?
What of our retribution? Did we not suffer horrid and tragic atrocities? And though not as current as the german holocaust, with television and such as it's venue, we suffered considerably, and in some cases, in more ways than the latter holocaust. How so? Many lost their culture, their grassroots, so to speak. Were forced to convert, thus losing whole lives behind, not even a memory. In the latter holocaust, many suffered, and many were even compensated, but did not lose along with lives, their cultures, and memories, and their god given rights, they suffered so hard for. In the former, there were no compensations, many lives lost, but to no avail, as we were not able to hold onto our cultures, cultural beliefs, nor the memories thereof. For no one stood for our retribution, nor compensations. Tell me, is it that an ocean of time has passed that we no longer count? It was too long ago to feel any sympathies, nor care? It did not effect any person's political careers enough to gain or lose from it? What then? Why so easily forgotten? I've not forgotten a minute of what i know of these atrocities suffered by my family, and thus, an empty inheritance bestowed upon me, in this day and age, the day i was born. For the day i was born, it was partially a lie, as from the beginning, the words, "who am i," we all ask from time to time, is in actuality, an absolute, a truth, for my inheritance was stolen. Well, enough of this, i just would like to share some small tokens of those times i speak of. {And have more to add at a later date, as these are in my writings for another book underway. Time provided, i should be allowed this project, as i live and breathe.}. Who stole my birthrights? Just read, and you will see that it was not just all the pain and suffering, but such a stigmatized past, that to this day, it is hidden. For protection of course, for the expultion edict was only overturned this past century. Funny, it took this long. And funny that the phoenician word, span{ish}, means, the hidden. And that was just the expulsion in Bablylon. Were they so insightful as to know what we had coming, repetitively. I am not, by any means, belittling the pain and suffering of the latter holocaust, for these were descendants of ours, thus named the ashkenazi(s), who were descended from those allowed to leave with their possessions, whom were referred to as the sephardim, and sephardim means, spanish/span(ish)/hidden Jew. Oh, and many of those who suffered at the former holocaust were all, i.e. aryan/arian {not today's white supremists who stole this term, as well as stealing the swastika/pre-historic symbol & meaning, and our family's origins at one of their primary locations, namely, Thule, as we were known as the godos/gots/goths/etc. The Legend, Not Myth, is that we came from Sepharad Mtn., known as the highlanders. Enough footnotes for now.}; as we were a melting pot of non-conformists, till we were literally forced into assimilation, thus the loss of our majestic heritage, and memories, also known as our birthrights. Well, this is all i have to say about the subject, FOR NOW. smiles. So, please see below:

MANUEL GOMEZ NAVARRO was from San Martin de Tregejos in La Raya de Portugal. He was single and his occupation was Dealer(triante) in the Mines of Sichu. He was charges with practicing the laws of Moses, its rites, and ceremonies. Refusing to believe in Jesus Christ as the Saviour, saying that "Jesus was just a false prophet, for which he had been crucified," and for saying other blasphemies. he was condemned to receive 12 lashes, and all of his possessionswere to be confiscated. He was to spend 6 years on the oars of agalley, after which time, he was to be places in a dungeon in Seville,where he would remain, perpetually.

LUIS de CARBAJAL de la CUEVA was a Conquistador who becameGovernorof the New Kindgom of Leon (Nuevo Leon), in New Spain(Nueva Espana). He was born in Mogodorio, Portugal, in 1539. His parents were Christians and Hidalgos. His maternal grandmother was Jewish. Hisgrandfather was a converted Christian. And his grandfather's namewas GUTIERREZ VASQUEZ de la CUEVA. His maternal uncle was name of FRANCISCO JORGE de ANDRADA. LUIS de CARBAJAL had a brother of the name DOMINGO de CARBAJAL, who became a Jesuit Monk. LUIS de CARBAJAL had a daughter, name of FRANCISCA deCARBAJAL, who was betrothed at the age of 9 years old, to aboy of the name, FRANCISCO RODRIGUEZ de MATOS, another Jew,who was 12 years old at that time. LUIS de CARBAJAL had a nephew, whose name was the same ashis own, (LUIS de CARBAJAL), who was burned at the stake, by theInquisition, at the age of 29 years old. Among those who accompanied Conquistador then General, LUISde CARBAJAL, to Nuevo Leon, were his cousins: JORGE de LEON, DIEGO MARQUEZ, LUIS PIMENTEL, CATALINA de LEON along with her husband, and Dona GINEBRA CARBAJAL (LUIS de CARBAJAL's wife). When CARBAJAL took authority over the dominion of Sasltillo, Coahuila, the people who were already settled there, did not agreewith his appointment over part of their province; and although the Real Audiencia ruled in his favour; those who were found to beagainst him, began to find fault with him, and brought out the factthat he was a Jew, and also, that the colonists he'd brought from Spain, to settle there, in Nueva Vizcaya, were all Jews. And that all of them practiced Jewish rites, and that they all observed all ofthe Jewish treaditions and their festivals. A Judge of the Inquisition, was sent to Monclovam(Coahuila)*(where CARBAJAL was staying then), and arrested him for being apracticing Jew. He was imprisoned in the dungeons of theInquisition, and later in 1590, was exiled to the WEST INDIES, for 6 years. Many of his family were reconciled, with the confiscation of all theirproperty, and belongings; as punishment, for practicing Judaism, andfor having rejected the teaching of Jesus Christ. Eventually LUIS deCARBAJAL died in prison, still an exile.
